Dash's obsession with the Kitty Pi

Shhh...I'm making Kitty Pi cat beds for Christmas presents. The first one is done, in Sierra by KnitPicks.

My kitten Dash has been obsessed with it from the moment I cast it on. It's as if he knew it was for him (or at least for cats.)

He couldn't wait until it was even cast off to try it out...

He wouldn't let me take a picture of it before it was felted...
















"Jeez, mom, can I finally sleep in it? Took ya long enough!"

(Note to self: one Kitty Pi down, four to go! 5 weeks until Christmas. *twitch*)

Here's the lucky recipent of the fingerless gloves and hat. Too bad he forgot to take them home with him. I guess I will have to deliver them at Thanksgiving

The gloves are done! These are for my dad (and those are my husband's arms, NOT MINE!) They're done in KnitPicks alpaca yarn (Andean Treasure.)Yes, I left out the fingertips on purpose.
